Are you suffering from baldness, but before embarking on hair implants would you like to know how a hair transplant works in our Aesthetic Clinic in Nice?
First of all, before starting an intervention at the Clinique du Carré d’Or, Doctor Brun establishes a precise diagnosis of your scalp and the area to be treated during a pre-operative consultation. During this consultation, he also checks that you do not have any contraindications and takes the opportunity to describe all the stages of an FUE hair transplant.
An FUE hair transplant procedure begins with the demarcation of the donor area and the recipient area, the implantation points are then precisely defined. After which, the follicular units (each containing 2 to 3 hairs) are extracted from the occipital area, under local anesthesia.
Once collected, the grafts are carefully sorted and perfectly oriented. Their establishment in the denuded area can therefore begin. With the FUE technique, the practitioner makes small incisions in order to insert the graft (more commonly called bulb).
The duration of an intervention varies depending on the number of hairs to be replanted. But you should know that the FUE technique has the advantage of perfectly preserving each graft, and therefore allows the reimplantation of each.
Our patients can resume their normal activities at the end of a hair transplant carried out in our Aesthetic Clinic in Nice, and they will appreciate the final result of the hair restoration, approximately 6 months after the procedure.
